Quick Health Update

  • On day 3 of detox…it’s getting rough. I miss milk and water! I’m sick of drinking the same thing all day every day! 4 days left to go.
  • I’ve held strong on eating healthy. I mainly eat almonds, sunflower seeds, and clementines. I occasionally have my herbal life shake, but I’m trying not to with the detox thing going on. I’m having trouble drinking 60 ounces a day as it is. 
  • I kicked my own ass Sunday (you know this) and I went with Leah Tuesday. I like having someone at the gym with me because then we can spot each other for free weights, but I feel like I don’t work as hard as I do when I’m by myself. However, I did run a mile (with a lap walk in the middle), which I was proud of. Running is not a strong point for me. I usually stick to the elliptical. I don’t get how I can do 3 miles on the elliptical without stopping but I can’t run a mile. Why is it so much harder to breathe when running?
  • My sleep schedule is off (as if you couldn’t tell). I’ve already missed 3 edmul classes. Partly because it’s my first class of the day and partly because I don’t care enough. This needs to end. I hate missing classes. Why can’t I wake up in the morning?
  • On a happier note I’m pretty sure I aced my music history quiz today. 
  • I’m taking vitamins that are supposed to improve my hair, skin, and nails. I’m hoping this will help my hair to grow longer and healthier. I’d also like for my skin tone to be even, but that wasn’t part of the plan. For some reason my shoulders and chest have always been blotchy. 
  • I’m celebrating my birthday this weekend. Get pumped. 
  • I’ve got a bit of a crush on a guy I work with. He’s adorable.
